The digital sector is an industry of exciting, dynamic and fast paced change. This T-Level is the Digital Production, Design and Development route and the pathway aims to support your understanding and practical competency on a wide-variety of in demand digital skills. You will gain a core knowledge of subjects such as understanding the emerging technical trends, such as Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality. In addition you will develop a range of technical and practical skills such as how to design, implement and test software.
Applying and accepting the offer on this course will require a commitment to undertake an industry placement. NSCG work closely with a range of companies within the digital industry who are committed to providing an industry placement. Students will be offered a placement following a successful interview with an employer.
It will be possible from this course progress to a university based programme such as Computer Science, Software Development or Business Information Systems. Some choose to study Games Programming. You can choose to study for a HE qualification here at NSCG through the HND in Applied Computing, or to enter employment, possibly through an Apprenticeship.
Applicants should be 16-18 and will be expected to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 5 including both GCSE maths & English. You'll also need GCSE grade 5 or above in Computer Science and/or IT.
