A talented digital content creator student who has embraced every opportunity to develop his skills during his university-level studies at NSCG has secured a full-time Multimedia Designer position with Eago Perfect Home Solutions.
Finn, who recently graduated from the HNC/D Digital Content Creation course also picked up a Student of the Year award at the graduation ceremony in recognition of his creativity, professionalism and commitment to learning throughout his time at the Institute of Technology.
From the very start of his time on the HNC/D, Finn impressed the teaching team with his enthusiasm, creative flair and willingness to take on new challenges. making the most of live industry briefs, events and external client projects.
Working with prestigious clients including Siemens, The Department of Education and the High Sheriff of Staffordshire, Finn consistently demonstrated reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude, becoming a valued member of his cohort.
His tutors praised not only the high standard of his creative work, but also his proactive approach to learning and his determination to continually develop his technical and design skills. Alongside his academic achievements, Finn has been recognised as a supportive and approachable student who has made a positive contribution to the learning environment, always willing to get involved and help others.
Reflecting on his time at NSCG, Finn said: "My time at NSCG has given me a large range of opportunities to further my career. Through my course I have gathered a network of contacts and a wide range of skills to build up my creative portfolio to enable me to apply to design roles. This network has been built up through the variety of clients we have worked with over the past two years, including large-scale global clients such as Siemens."
He added: "Alongside this, the College has given me opportunities for extra work outside of the course, such as photographing events with the High Sheriff of Staffordshire and Speller Metcalfe. These experiences have helped me understand how the creative industry works and the range of career opportunities available. As a result, I have secured a full-time Multimedia Designer role at Eago Perfect Home Solutions, where I will be starting my journey in the creative industry."
Finn's success highlights the value of industry-focused learning at NSCG, where students gain hands-on experience with real clients while building the skills, confidence and professional networks needed to launch successful careers.
